【摘要】:Followingthispracticeshouldresultinprecision-and-biasstatementsthatcanbeachievedbyanylaboratoryproperlyusingthetestmethodstudied.Theseprecision-and-biasstatementsprovidethebasisforgenericlimitsforuseintheQualityControlsectionofthetestmethod.Optionally,thedetectionandquantitationvaluesprovideestimatesofthelevelatwhichmostlaboratoriesshouldbeabletoachieveconfidentdetectionandmeettheminimumprecision(expressedasrelativestandarddeviation)expected.Themethodspecifiesthematricesforwhichthetestmethodisappropriate.Thecollaborativetestcorroboratesthewrite-upwithinthelimitationsofthetestdesign.Anextensivetestcanonlyuserepresentativematricessothatuniversalapplicabilitycannotbeimpliedfromtheresults.Thefundamentalassumptionofthecollaborativestudyisthatthematricestested,theconcentrationstested,andtheparticipatinglaboratoriesarearepresentativeandfairevaluationofthescopeandapplicabilityofthetestmethodaswritten.1.1ThispracticeestablishesuniformstandardsforestimatingandexpressingtheprecisionandbiasofapplicabletestmethodsforCommitteeD19onWater.1.2Exceptasspecifiedin1.3,1.4,and1.5,thispracticerequiresthetaskgroupproposinganewtestmethodtocarryoutacollaborativestudyfromwhichstatementsforprecision(overallandsingle-operatorstandard-deviationestimates)andbiascanbedeveloped.Thispracticeprovidesgeneralguidancetotaskgroupsinplanningandconductingsuchdeterminationsofprecisionandbias.1.3Ifafull-scalecollaborativestudyisnottechnicallyfeasible,duetothenatureofthetestmethodorinstabilityofsamples,thelargestfeasiblescaled-downcollaborativestudyshallbeconductedtoprovidethebestpossiblelimitedbasisforestimatingtheoverallandsingle-operatorstandarddeviations.1.3.1Examplesofacceptablescaled-downstudiesarethelocal-areastudiesconductedbySubcommitteeD19.24onmicrobiologicalmethodsbecauseofinherentsampleinstability.Thesestudiesinvolvesixormorecompletelyindependentlocal-areaanalystswhocanbeginanalysisofuniformsamplesatanagreedupontime.1.3.2Ifuniformsamplesarenotfeasibleunderanycircumstances,astatementofsingle-operatorprecisionwillmeettherequirementsofthispractice.Wheneverpossible,thisstatementshouldbedevelopedfromdatageneratedbyindependentmultipleoperators,eachdoingreplicateanalysesonindependentsamples(ofaspecificmatrixtype),whichgenerallyfallwithinspecifiedconcentrationranges(see7.2.5.2(3)).1.3.3Thispracticeisnotapplicabletomethodologyinvolvingcontinuoussamplingorcontinuousmeasurement,orboth,ofspecificconstituentsandproperties.1.3.4Thispracticeisalsonotapplicabletoopen-channelflowmeasurements.1.4Acollaborativestudythatsatisfiedtherequirementsoftheversionofthispracticeinforcewhenthestudywasconductedwillcontinuetobeconsideredanadequatebasisfortheprecision-and-biasstatementrequiredineachtestmethod.Ifthestudydoesnotsatisfythecurrentminimumrequirementsforacollaborativestudy,astatementlistingthestudy''sdeficienciesandareferencetothisparagraphshallbeincludedintheprecision-and-biasstatementasthebasisforanexemptionfromthecurrentrequirements.1.5Thisparagraphrelatestospecialexemptionsnotclearlyacceptableunder1.3or1.4.WiththeapprovalofCommitteeD19ontherecommendationoftheResultsAdvisorandtheTechnicalOperationsSectionoftheExecutiveSubcommitteeofCommitteeD19,astatementgivingacompellingreasonwhycompliancewi......
