【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedasastandardtestinthecomparisonofagivensizeanddesignlug-stylechild-resistantclosuretomanufacturerspecifications,andinthecomparisonofsimilarclosuresofdifferingmaterialsfordeterminingstrippage.Thistestmethodmaybeusedasastandardtesttoevaluatethecontinuedeffectivenessoftheclosureforchildresistanceandadultopeningandreclosingthroughouttheexpecteduseandshelflifeofthepackage.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheforcerequiredtocauseadownward-force-while-turninglug-finishclosuretoberotatedacrossthecontainerfinishlugs(strippage)withoutdownwardforcebeingappliedtotheclosure(TypeIIAclosures).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
